The Town of Wappinger is continuing the tradition of the annual “Joseph Ennesser” 5k. This year marks the 5th year of this special event to help us honor local veterans. In Wapppinger, we have several parks and
monuments dedicated to the heroes who have served our country bravely.
Additionally, Hometown Heroes banners hang proudly in this Town alongside the major roads in the community. We plan to expand this
program to feature the veterans of the community in places of honor inside several of our Town Parks.
To maintain and expand these recognition programs, we need the support of our community. Please consider helping us keep these programs funded through taking on a sponsorship or signing up to participate in the run.
We need your help to make sure that those who have served our country receive the recognition they so rightly deserve.
