Staff & Volunteer Opportunities - Carnwath Showcase
The Town of Wappinger Parks and Recreation is excited to introduce a new one-stop shop for staffing and volunteer opportunities at our events and programs! This page will be updated frequently with upcoming opportunities, so be sure to check back often for new shifts.
Who Can Sign Up?
Paid shifts are available exclusively to existing Town of Wappinger employees, including seasonal employees.
Volunteer shifts are open to anyone who would like to get involved and support our community.
Each available shift will clearly indicate who is eligible to sign up.
Signing Up for a Shift
When you sign up, you are signing up for a shift, not a specific job or task. Your specific assignment will be determined when you arrive and report for your shift. This allows us to assign staff and volunteers where they are needed most and helps ensure each event runs smoothly.
Choose as Many Shifts as You’d Like!
Sign up for one shift, several shifts on the same day, or help out across multiple days! You can continue signing up for available shifts until we reach the number of staff and volunteers needed for each event.Please double-check the dates and times of your shifts before completing your registration.
How the Sign-Up Process Works
Our system works much like an online store:
Browse the available events and shifts.
Add the shifts you would like to your cart.
Once you have selected all of your desired shifts, go to your cart and check out.
IMPORTANT: YOU MUST COMPLETE CHECKOUT!
There is NO cost to sign up for a shift — your total will be $0.However, you MUST complete the checkout process in order for your shift(s) to be officially registered.
