Hi Folks!Jessica Fulton the Recreation Director here! I hope that you all have been pleased with the introduction of our new website and online registration system back in July. Over the past several months, we have been working to bring the Parks & Recreation Department to you wherever you are. So here we are, adding the Rec Blog to the increasing line up of ways that we can help you know what’s going on. This one’s going to be a little different though. It’s not going just be about what programs we have and how to sign up for them. The fact that you are here at our website reading this means you are already an expert in that field! The Rec Blog is going to be about letting the community know what is going on in the world of Wappinger Parks & Recreation, meaning; our department, check ins on fun things that are going on in our parks & programs for folks of all ages, ongoing projects and proposals, what’s exciting on the horizon, ways to get involved in the community, an occasional guest author, photos, videos, and so much more!
